From the GSDCA Regional Club Laison:
Want to do something really worthwhile today? How about supporting the
GSDCA-WDA National which is the WUSV World Team Qualifier and the WPO
Championship by making a donation to their raffle? Of course you could also
send a trophy donation but sending something for the raffle is more fun and
just might bring you some business too.
Do you make or sell a product that you would like to showcase to the
world?
There will be entries from all over the USA and foreign countries. Do you
make dog biscuits, trophies, art, leads, collars, awards, shirts, hats, logo
patches? Do you have some dog related stuff that you would like to donate?
Do you own a company or work for a company that ships products to consumers
(food, gifts, flowers, etc.)? You name it, you make it, you sell it and you
want to make your products part of this great event, just send your donation
or gift certificate for the raffle to:
Kim Gash,
9101 Raytown Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64138 Kim's phone is 816-761-0936
E-mail: Kim@kimgash.com

Ramblings from the Redhead
2004 was a very busy year for
this club. We not only hosted our normal two major entry specialty
shows and obedience trials, but we held two matches, and invested
many, many hours in getting ready for "Our National" - The GSDCA
National held in Albany, Oregon.
This club deserves to be
incredibly proud of the efforts made to assure the event happened as
smoothly as possibly. We had lots of volunteers, supplied equipment,
ran last second errands. Often those efforts prevented members from
being able to do the thing they wanted most - watch the judging - but
things got done. And let me tell you, doing those sunny-day dances
was hard work! But nobody could complain about the fabulous Oregon weather!
But we are not sitting on our
laurels - things are getting started, plans are being made, and we are
off on another busy year -
Our sister club, the
GSDCO-WDA is holding it's first trial in March. If you are unfamiliar
with SchH trials, come out and watch.
Oh - sound those trumpets - the
trailer is being done!!!
